Despite being the most expensive detail we offer, this is actually the most popular and the cost is often offset with an increase in vehicle value or saleability.
Using a multi stage machine polishing process, we aim to completely restore the gloss and shine of poorly maintained paint to an as new condition, and judging by our customers comments, the finish we achieve is often even better than when the car was first delivered. Heavy swirl marks, wet sanding marks and other paint defects are removed to leave a flawless finish.
Working on a small area of paint at a time and examining it after each polishing phase, we make sure we are safely removing as many swirl marks as possible. During this process we aim to polish out around 98%-100% of the marks in your cars paint, a process that can take 2-4 hours per panel. The finish left from our paint correction detail often needs to be seen to be believed.
Whilst this detail can be carried out at any point in the car's life, it is common for our customers to book it just after buying a used car, to provide that 'new car' experience, or just prior to selling one, to maximise the sales potential. Customers are welcome to use our photos in any sales advert.
As with the Enhancement Detail, the paint correction made in this detail is a long lasting improvement. We can give you tips on products and washing methods that will help ensure you can keep your car looking as good as the day it was detailed.
Whats included in the Correction Detail :

WASH - Wheels, arches and paintwork are safely washed with acid free and pH neutral chemicals. The engine bay, door and boot shuts and other crevices and grills are all given special attention to ensure that months or even years of grime are effectively dealt with.

DECONTAMINATE - All exterior surfaces are decontaminated both chemically and mechanically using various tar and iron dissolving chemicals and a clay bar.

PAINT CORRECTION - All painted surfaces are given a multi stage machine polish with the aim of removing all paint defects such as heavy swirls, wet sanding marks, minor scratches, bird dropping etching etc.

PROTECT -
Gtechniq C2
Gtechniq C2 is applied to all painted surfaces giving 3-6 months water and dirt repellency. C2 is also applied to the wheels and G5 to the exterior of the side and rear glass.
5. FINESSE - To finish off the job the arches, engine bay, tyres and other external plastics are dressed / protected, the interior vacuumed and dusted and the internal glass cleaned.

Additional Glass Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq G5 to your glass, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass to give 12+ months of rain repellency (usually 18+ months on side and rear glass). Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using relatively weak physical bonds, G1 uses a chemical bond which gives G1 unrivalled durability.

Additional Wheel Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq C2 to your wheels, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour to give 12+ months protection and easy cleaning. Although regular cleaning is still recommended to keep the wheel in the best condition, with this coating applied brake dust and tar will become much easier to wash away. The wheels are removed for this treatment and C5 is applied to the wheel face, inner barrel and smooth painted brake callipers.

Interior Protection
Gtechniq's interior coatings all contain BioCote®, an anti microbial technology meaning treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric AB makes makes ordinary fabrics, such as carpets and cloth seats, waterproof and easy to clean. Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard AB protects leather from UV and dye transfer. When choosing this treatment, leather and cloth surfaces are treated after a thorough vacuum.
