Why do we detail brand new cars and why should you use us rather than your supplying dealer?
Not only do you benefit from the great looks, protection and easy maintenance the sealants offer from day 1 of your ownership, but applying a protective coating when the car is new is a lot cheaper than doing it later in the cars life when the paint will likely need extensive machine polishing before the sealants can be applied.
That said, unfortunately our experience has shown that regardless of value, new cars are rarely delivered with perfect paint.
Everyone expects their new car to look perfect. Sadly dealership time constraints and budgets can lead to unsightly paint damage being inflicted during rushed preparation, and then cheap ‘cover up’ products being used to hide that damage, only for the true condition of the paint to be revealed after the first wash as their ‘cover up’ products are washed away.
We have no such time constraints or budgets and we typically spend a minimum of 2 days on each new car ensuring the paint is in perfect condition before applying a combination of Gtechniq’s market leading sealants.

Whats included in the New Car Detail :

WASH - Wheels, arches and paintwork are safely washed with acid free and pH neutral chemicals.

DECONTAMINATE - All exterior surfaces are decontaminated both chemically and mechanically using various tar and iron dissolving chemicals and a clay bar.

PAINT INSPECTION / CLEANSE - The paint is inspected using various lights and any small, localised defects are corrected by machine polishing (up to 1 hour of paint correction included). The entire car is given a single stage polish in preparation for the Gtechniq coatings. If required, additional paint correction above the included 1 hour will be charged at £40 per hour once approval has been sought from the customer. In extreme cases an 'Enhancement Detail' may be required.

PROTECT -
Gtechniq Exo V4
Gtechniq Exo V4 is a long life hydrophobic top coat and is applied to all painted surfaces giving 18 months water and dirt repellency. Gtechniq C2 is applied to the wheels and G5 to the exterior of the glass.
5. FINESSE - To finish off the job the arches, engine bay, tyres and other external plastics are dressed / protected, the interior vacuumed and dusted and the internal glass cleaned.

While Gtechniq ExoV4 gives you a slick, reflective, hydrophobic layer, to really benefit from the protection Gtechniq sealants can offer you will need to add on one of the hard setting Crystal Serum base coats which would be applied after the paint cleanse and before the Exo V4 top coat. Please choose either Serum Light or Serum Ultra:

Additional Glass Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq G5 to your glass, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass to give 12+ months of rain repellency (usually 18+ months on side and rear glass). Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using relatively weak physical bonds, G1 uses a chemical bond which gives G1 unrivalled durability.

Additional Wheel Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq C2 to your wheels, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour to give 12+ months protection and easy cleaning. Although regular cleaning is still recommended to keep the wheel in the best condition, with this coating applied brake dust and tar will become much easier to wash away. The wheels are removed for this treatment and C5 is applied to the wheel face, inner barrel and smooth painted brake callipers.

Interior Protection
Gtechniq's interior coatings all contain BioCote®, an anti microbial technology meaning treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric AB makes makes ordinary fabrics, such as carpets and cloth seats, waterproof and easy to clean. Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard AB protects leather from UV and dye transfer. When choosing this treatment, leather and cloth surfaces are treated after a thorough vacuum.

Fabric Roof Protection
Fabric convertible roofs require treating in order to prevent the growth of mildew, the build up of dirt and UV discolouration. Coating with Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric AB provides long lasting protection, encasing the soft top fibres in an anti microbial water and dirt repelling coating. Even just to have the satisfaction of watching water pearl off your soft-top, this treatment is worth it. The water and stain repellent effect lasts for around a year.

Essential Maintenance Kit
The Essential Maintenance Kit contains all of the must-haves you will need to look after your Gtechniq protected car. The kit contains 500ml GWash, 500ml Quick Detailer, 500ml G6 Perfect Glass, 250ml W6 Iron and General Fallout Remover, 250ml T2 Tyre Dressing, 250ml W8 Bug Remover, 2 x MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth, MF2 Zero Scratch Microfibre Drying Towel and a Large Gtechniq branded kit bag. The RRP of this kit is £75 and needs to be requested when you make your booking.
