Although our entry level detail does not include any paint correction, this detail is perfect for a daily drive car where paint correction is not as important or for making a car you are planning to sell stand out from the crowd. It is also ideal for cars that are protected with PPF, where paint correction is not possible.
We first thoroughly but safely wash and decontaminate the car. We then apply a cleansing glaze to the paint that not only deep cleans but also leaves a thin layer of masking fillers that greatly enhance the surface gloss. When locked in with the final protective layer of sealant, the overall improved appearance and protection can last up to 6 months.

Whats included in the Protection Detail :

WASH - Wheels, arches and paintwork are safely washed with acid free and pH neutral chemicals. The engine bay, door and boot shuts and other crevices and grills are all given special attention to ensure that months or even years of grime are effectively dealt with.

DECONTAMINATE - All exterior surfaces are decontaminated both chemically and mechanically using various tar and iron dissolving chemicals and a clay bar.

PAINT CLEANSE - A mildly abrasive paint cleanser is used on all painted surfaces to leave a squeaky clean, contaminate free, glossy finish.

PROTECT - Gtechniq C2 is applied to all painted surfaces giving 3-6 months water and dirt repellency. Gtechniq C2 is applied to the wheels and G5 to the exterior of the glass.

FINESSE - To finish off the job the arches, engine bay, tyres and other external plastics are dressed / protected, the interior vacuumed and dusted and the internal glass cleaned.

Additional Paint Protection
Upgrade to the stronger and more durable 2 part Gtechniq coatings. When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls and
contaminant / dirt repellency, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and Serum Light are the pinnacle in paint protection.
For cars protected with PPF or wrapped in a colour changing vinyl, Gtechniq have developed Halo, a new coating specifically designed to bond to these more porous materials.

The density of the coating and its low surface energy improve dirt and water repellency of PPF or vinyl. It also helps to prevent staining from dirt ingression, as well as reducing yellowing caused by UV rays.

Additional Glass Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq G5 to your glass, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass to give 12+ months of rain repellency (usually 18+ months on side and rear glass). Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using relatively weak physical bonds, G1 uses a chemical bond which gives G1 unrivalled durability.

Additional Wheel Protection
Instead of applying Gtechniq C2 to your wheels, which lasts around 3 months, we can apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour to give 12+ months protection and easy cleaning. Although regular cleaning is still recommended to keep the wheel in the best condition, with this coating applied brake dust and tar will become much easier to wash away. The wheels are removed for this treatment and C5 is applied to the wheel face, inner barrel and smooth painted brake callipers.

Interior Protection
Gtechniq's interior coatings all contain BioCote®, an anti microbial technology meaning treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric AB makes makes ordinary fabrics, such as carpets and cloth seats, waterproof and easy to clean. Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard AB protects leather from UV and dye transfer. When choosing this treatment, leather and cloth surfaces are treated after a thorough vacuum.

Fabric Roof Protection
Fabric convertible roofs require treating in order to prevent the growth of mildew, the build up of dirt and UV discolouration. Coating with Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric AB provides long lasting protection, encasing the soft top fibres in an anti microbial water and dirt repelling coating. Even just to have the satisfaction of watching water pearl off your soft-top, this treatment is worth it. The water and stain repellent effect lasts for around a year.

The Essential Maintenance Kit contains all of the must-haves you will need to look after your Gtechniq protected car. The kit contains 500ml GWash, 500ml Quick Detailer, 500ml G6 Perfect Glass, 250ml W6 Iron and General Fallout Remover, 250ml T2 Tyre Dressing, 250ml W8 Bug Remover, 2 x MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth, MF2 Zero Scratch Microfibre Drying Towel and a Large Gtechniq branded kit bag. The RRP of this kit is £75 and needs to be requested when you make your booking.
